Adult Sunday School Classes
Why should adults attend a Sunday school class?
The world is full of overwhelming and/or confusing “folklore, misquoted scriptures, and deceptive half-truths.” Here are three examples.
- (Worldly folklore) “It doesn't matter what you believe, as long as you're sincere” (A quote from the famous Peanuts cartoon series).
- (Misquoted scripture) “For money is the root of all evil.”
- (Worldly half-truth) “We only exist to live, work, pay taxes, and die.”
Adult Sunday school provides a sound method for adults to gain Biblical knowledge and wisdom. When armed with Biblical knowledge and wisdom, we can easily see what worldly folklore, misquoted scriptures, and worldly half-truths really are.

- The New Life class is for all adults (no age limit) who have accepted Jesus and need a better understanding of what it means to be a Christian and to any adult who enjoys studing the Holy Bible / Bible topics "verse-by-verse."
- The CrossTimbers class is for young adults from 18 up to the age of 30. This class focuses on the Word of God in building a solid foundation in Jesus Christ.
- The CIA (Christians in Action) class is designed for adults over thirty but it is open to all adults. This class uses the GHP (Gospel House Publications) quarterlies and other GHP publications.
- The VIP (Very Important People) class was original started by the eldest members of our church. This class now includes adults of all ages. This class uses the GHP (Gospel House Publications) quarterlies.
